The Big Blue 20" Bone Char carbon filter can be used to replace a current filter or upgrade from the standard carbon block filter. Along with normal carbon filtration qualities, bone char carbon also reduces or removes nucleotides, fluordie, arsenic, heavy metals, and more. The filter measures 4.5-inch in diameter and 20-inch long and fits all standard 20-inch Big Blue housings.

Bone Char — Oops!
I am sure this product is the same high quality as their others, but I can’t really speak to it because I goofed when purchasing this. I made the mistake of thinking it would work well with my other filters (KDF55/GAC and 5 micron Sediment) which it did not. It severely restricted the water flow rate. The good part is that Abundant Flow Filters were very gracious and refunded my purchase so I could replace it with my usual radial flow carbon filter.

Works Great - 2 years so far
Works Great - 2 years so far. Really like the taste of our water. It is also softened. I haven't done a test on fluoride to 100% verify, but I can say I'm quite satisfied.
