Replaced this recently. I appreciate the detailed instructions you provide and the diagrams. Makes it easy for a householder to do the work instead of paying a plumber.

Filmtec 50 GPD RO Membrane - excellent function, good price

Posted by STEVEN DELLER on Aug 17 2021

We have only 2 people in our home and are home only about 50% of the time, so we ran our RO for nearly 4 years before replacing. There was only a slight flow loss, and inspection of the replaced filter suggested it was fully intact. We did replace the other filters in our system about every 18 months. The price is excellent for the product, and I know I can always trust AFW to have replacement products and helpful advice when needed.

3rd one purchased and still happy...:)

This filter is just another part of my RO system in the kitchen which is feeding the sink spigot and the fridge ice/water-in-door. My Wife and our Saint Bernard give the system a workout and I end up changing it every year or two.
