The float valve allows you to fill large tanks, containers, and aquariums without having to check on them periodically. Or, you can use the float to keep tanks topped off. If you are using this with a reverse osmosis or RO/DI system, you will need an auto shut-off valve (ASV) so that the system will shut off when the float engages. Float connects to standard 1/4-inch tubing via a compression fitting.

Float valves are used to shut down your RO system when the float is elevated. Float valves are typically installed on containers like large plastic food grade trash cans, aquariums & fish tanks, or other containers. Install is as easy as drilling a small hole in the container, slide the float in and attach using the included nut. If you are using this with a reverse osmosis or RO/DI system, you will need an auto shut-off valve (ASV) so that the system will shut off when the float engages.
