Product Description

The MagnaSoft® water conditioning module was designed to deliver the highest magnetic pulling force at a reasonable price. We use only Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets with a combined magnetic pulling force of over 500 pounds in each module. As the water enters the conditioning chamber it is redirected 90 degrees to cause a slight pressure drop which enhances the effects of the magnetic conditioning. The water then flows around the magnetic module and is subject to a series of reversing-polarity permanent magnetic fields.

All components that contact the water during this process are manufactured with NSF listed components. Magnetic conditioning has a long and successful history of treating water in both residential and industrial applications including cooling towers, closed loop chilled water systems, heating hot water systems and boiler treatment. No chemicals or salt to add, no polluting chemicals to drain, and no electricity to operate makes this technology truly green. Manufactured in the USA to ensure quality and consistency.

Carbon filtration is a great addition to any home, providing cleaner, better tasting water in just about any situation. Backwashing tank systems provide all the benefits of carbon filtration, without the constant maintenance and cost associated with cartridge filters.

Homes on city water will enjoy chlorine and chloramine removal, eliminating a harmful chemical and preventing respiratory problems that may be associated with chlorinated water. Homes on well water will benefit from the removal herbicides and pesticides that can find their way into water supplies. In both cases, carbon filtration improves the appeal of water, removing tastes and odors that can discourage healthy drinking water habits.

Controlled by the Fleck 5600SXT digital control head, this system automatically backwashes. The backwash process simply forces water rapidly through the system in reverse direction, lifting the media and flushing accumulated particulates down the drain. Made by Fleck, the #1 manufacturer of control heads in the US, the digital control head offers an easy to use LCD display and touchpad controls as well as shorter, more efficient backwashes.

Service Flows
Service flow rate is the manufacturers recommendation for maximum removal of all contaminants at a constant flow. Intermittent flow rate, lower contaminant levels and/or fewer contaminants MAY allow higher treatment flow rates.

Backwash Flow Rates
The backwash flow rate is the minimum rate that MUST be available to ensure proper backwashing and adequate media life. While lower flows can be used and MAY provide adequate results, using less than the recommended flows WILL void the 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Warranties on the tank and control valve will remain unaffected.
