Product Description

Carbon filtration is a great addition to any home, providing cleaner, better tasting water in just about any situation. Backwashing tank systems provide all the benefits of carbon filtration, without the constant maintenance and cost associated with cartridge filters.

Homes on city water will enjoy chlorine removal, eliminating a harmful chemical and preventing respiratory problems that may be associated with chlorinated water. Homes on well water will benefit from the removal herbicides and pesticides that can find their way into water supplies. In both cases, carbon filtration improves the appeal of water, removing tastes and odors that can discourage healthy drinking water habits.

Controlled by the HD digital control head, this system automatically backwashes. The backwash process simply forces water rapidly through the system in reverse direction, lifting the media and flushing accumulated particulates down the drain.
