Flow meter measures water and regenerates based on water use, not time, conserving salt and water
Contains 1 cubic feet of US-made Purolite C100E resin capable of removing up to 32,000 grains of hardness between regeneration cycles
Purolite C100E is a premium, US-made, industrial grade gel polystyrenic strong acid cation exchange resin. Its specification is such that it will exceed the relevant EEC requirements, and the resin is in compliance with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration Code of Federal Regulations section 21, paragraph 173.25; for use in the treatment of foods for human consumption. Its high bead integrity, excellent chemical and physical stability, and very low extractables content play a large part in its successful employment in these areas.
Removes up to 99% of water-soluble lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals. KDF media helps control the build-up of bacteria, algae and fungi in organic based media and helps extend the life of ion exchange resins from fouling.
Ion exchange process physically removes the ions that cause hard water
Removes up to 99% of water-soluble lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals.
Water that has been softened does not form scale buildup on faucets or fixtures or inside pipes
KDF55 prevents bacteria growth on the resin and media, eliminating early fouling from bacteria related issues
Soft water improves soap efficiency, reducing the amount required for dishes, laundry, and bathing.
Metered head provides efficient treatment
Durable, high quality polyglass tank made by a trusted name in tank manufacturing
Used for holding salt used during the regeneration process.
