Replacement filter is capable of reducing lead, chlorine, cyst, heavy metals and a wide range of chemicals. It also offers 0.5 micron nominal filtration to remove visible particulates and removal of most tastes and odors in the water. Typical life expectancy varies greatly depending on water parameters and useage. Recommended replacement is at least once a year, with every six months typical.
