Replacement piston assembly for the Fleck 5600 mechanical softener valves.
This piston will shorten the backwash time from 10 minutes that you get with the standard piston (60121-00) to seven minutes. This piston is not recommended for softeners used on well water or water with high sediment levels.
This is a genuine Fleck part# 60102-20.
Product Description
Replacement piston assembly for the Fleck 5600 mechanical softener valves. The low water piston will shorten the backwash time from 10 minutes that you get with the standard piston (60121-00) to 7 minutes. These wear out over time and can cause your control head to work inefficiently, bind, or not work at all. Genuine Fleck part# 60102-20. For an additional charge, you can send in your control head to us and we can replace the piston for you. It is recommended that you replace the seals & spacers when you replace the piston. Corresponding seal & spacer kit is 60125.
