The Iron Defender system provide low level iron removal without using salt or chemicals. It is a lower cost option for homes that do not need the higher capacity of more expensive iron filters. It is also a great option for homes with soft water, pre-existing water softeners, or any situation where iron treatment with a water softener is not desired.
