Catalytic Carbon Media - Catalytic Carbon media is a synthetic carbon media that has a larger surface area than standard activated carbon. This allows a wider variety of contaminant removal as well as higher levels of treatment.
- UPFLOW CATALYTIC CARBON CONTAMINANT REMOVAL - Removes a wide range of contaminants including chlorine and chloramines (more effective than activated carbon), pesticides, herbicides, organics, MTBE, and THM. It also removes most other chemicals, tastes and odors, and is an excellent system for general filtration. Catalytic carbon is a great option for well water for some iron and hydrogen sulfide removal as well.
