The coupler is very easy to install. But care must be taken to ensure that you do not over tighten. Once the slightest resistance is felt against the O-ring, you must not tighten any further or you risk breaking off the adapter head. Worse yet, weakness may result causing the head to later fail and leak water in an enclosed or concealed space. Overall, though, the coupler is much more practical that copper compression fittings.
