High quality, whole home Iron Pro water softener designed by AFWFilters. Includes installation and programming instructions written by a WQA certified Water Quality specialist to ensure you get the best results. Meter based on-demand regeneration with the Fleck 5600SXT offers efficient regeneration based on your water use. Complete with brine tank and choice of connection. Standard plastic connection is low cost with two part bypass and yoke. Upgrade to stainless steel for a single piece bypass for tighter spaces. Match the size to your plumbing for simpler installation.
Main resin tank is approximately 10" x 54" (approximately 62" overall height with control head). Brine tank is approximately 14"x14"x36" tall, both tanks will be in the selected color. Capable of removing up to 6 ppm of ferrous iron without additional systems required. If ferric iron or higher levels of iron are present a separate iron filter is recommended. System comes with 1.5 cubic feet of resin capable of removing a maximum of 48,000 grains (48k) of hardness between regenerations (actual capacity dependent on system settings and water chemistry).

Excellent product, great value and great customer service
So far this product is working well. I'm still amazed at the quick delivery and customer support from AFW. I had an issue with a small leak from where the bypass connected to the controller. AFW was able to identify the issue (o-ring didn't seat properly) and sent me a replacement set, which resolved the leak. Will definitely be shopping here again if I need any additional water quality products.

Iron Pro 48000 Gr Softener finally solved
This is actually my second comment. I originally gave this item two stars because I just wasn't getting good results, but I mentioned at the time I was still troubleshooting. After a lot of head scratching, I found out a hard plumbed bypass valve had been left partially open so I was getting raw well water injected AFTER the filter process. I closed that, the water cleared up and all was well. I tested my tap water today, and there was no trace of iron and the water was nice and soft. Success!

Doing what it said!
This unit has been installed just a few weeks, but is working very well. Water source is a private well with 2.5 ppm iron and 15 GR hardness. No iron stains or taste, and now soft water as well.

Great system with exceptional instructions
I bought the iron pro system with the Fleck 5600sxt head from afw because I heard their customer support was top notch. I'm a DIYer and couldn't afford it any other way so I'm elated when I see such detailed instructions for a product. I love that they add descriptions and comments on all the program settings almost like a school text book, it makes it easy for just about anyone to understand their system. Great job AFW! Great product
We have a lot of iron in our well water and this softener completely stopped the stains. We love it. I installed it myself and it was very easy.
