Product Description
The two canister system provides cleaner, safer water without electricity or waste water. These 20" high flow "Big Blue" filters (larger 4.5" diameter) provide even more surface area and fewer flow restrictions than standard sized filters (2.5" diamter) or 10" Big Blue systems, allowing for even higher service flow rates. We provide detailed installation instructions that allow most homeowners to install this system themselves. All it takes is some basic plumbing skills and some common knowledge!
Activated alumina is capable of removing lower levels of fluoride, arsenic, and lead from your water. Lead and arsenic can sometims be found in ground water supplies. Fluoride is commonly found in municipal water supplies. Excessive levels of any of these contaminants can cause mild to severe health problems. Additionally, activated alumina DOES NOT add any harmful chemical or substances to your water during filration. This system is not recommended for arsenic levels significantly exceeding the 10 ppb (.010 ppm) of arsenic recommended by the EPA.
High Flow "Big Blue" Filters - Larger 4.5" diameter filters provide more surface area and fewer flow restrictions than standard sized filters, allowing for higher service flow rates.
