Provides simple pressure let off to reduce water spray when changing filters
Simple in/out connection and installation instructions allow most home owners to install these systems on their own
Product Description
The two canister system provides cleaner, safer water without electricity or waste water. These 20" high flow "Big Blue" filters (larger 4.5" diameter) provide even more surface area and fewer flow restrictions than standard sized filters (2.5" diamter) or 10" Big Blue systems, allowing for even higher service flow rates. We provide detailed installation instructions that allow most homeowners to install this system themselves. All it takes is some basic plumbing skills and some common knowledge!
Activated alumina is capable of reducing fluoride and arsenic in your water. Arsenic can sometims be found in ground water supplies. Fluoride is commonly found in municipal water supplies. Excessive levels of any of these contaminants can cause mild to severe health problems. Additionally, activated alumina DOES NOT add any harmful chemical or substances to your water during filtration. This system is not recommended for arsenic levels significantly exceeding the 10 ppb (.010 ppm) of arsenic recommended by the EPA.

Water pressure loss
installation was straight forward and fairly easy. Seems to do a good job filtering the water. The water pressure is extremely effected by the filters. Can only have one outlet running at a time. *note, if you have low water pressure to begin with, contact us for options, if you have fairly good flow rate and pressure, these do just fine with very little pressure drop*
