Product Description
The two canister system provides cleaner, safer water without electricity or waste water. These 20" high flow "Big Blue" filters (larger 4.5" diameter) provide even more surface area and fewer flow restrictions than standard sized filters (2.5" diameter) or 10" Big Blue systems, allowing for even higher service flow rates. We provide detailed installation instructions that allow most homeowners to install this system themselves. All it takes is some basic plumbing skills and some common knowledge!

Some things to consider
These units are heavy, and require adequate packing to prevent shipping damage. Unfortunately, those sent to me were shipped in a flimsy box with token packing which resulted in missing and broken pieces. After several calls to request replacement parts, including one to request the correct part (the wrong one was sent), I had my plumber install them. In the product info it says that a homeowner can install it with basic plumbing skills. Take it from me, what that really means is, you need to be a plumber. It took mine 2 hours, and he was efficient. And I had installed the support frame and filter tops before he arrived (Note: the enclosed owner's manual and installation instructions are very superficial, and expect you to figure out the rest). I had him install the bypass loop system, to allow the filters to be isolated for filter change or whatever. The filters in this system are basically large plastic tubes (that fit inside the big blue plastic casings) filled with small carbon granules, and they will reduce your water pressure inside the house. My wife's bidet used to shoot 18" high (and still does when I bypass the filters), but barely reaches the rim running through the filters/bypass loop. All other appliances and fixtures seem to have adequate pressure. We had already filtered our drinking water, so it is difficult to taste a difference, but it is comforting to know that shower and clothes/dish washer water is cleaner. Probably a good solution for you, if you don't have a bidet.
