Air Injection Platinum 10 System Iron & Sulfur Removal

Great filtration system! I mainly have a manganese problem in my private well ,which the water comes out looking very brown. It totally resolved this problem so well that I felt comfortable to drink a glass of crystal clear water from my tap! I installed the system myself, which if you read and follow the instructions, is not difficult...you'll need to know a bit about plumbing to make the hookups to your house. Free shipping as well was a bonus...the filter was shipped in five different boxes though. Mine didn't come with a drain hose...this is a 10' long 1/2" inside diameter you'll need to have to drain the water from the filter. You all should expect to spend another $50-$100 in parts to adapt piping to complete install of filter ,if you DIY. Time will tell me better on how the filter performs but as for now it resolved the problem for my water conditions!

i have had the unit for a couple for months now. i would like to say that it works great and i would recomend it to anyone with an iron problem. when i first got it, it didnt come with the instructions.... i contacted the vendor and they sent me a link to downlaod the files i needed. its a great filter

Received the shipment within the time frame reported. I called Abundant Flow Tech Service twice for clarification on self installation and spoke with "Stuart" who was more than helpful. He sent further instructions by email as we talked and made sure any questions I had were answered. The system has been in use for a week now and our problems with iron and sulfur odor were eliminated just as they guaranteed. Money well spent and easy to install without the need of a plumber. I highly recommend this company and their Air Injection Iron, Sulfur and Manganese filter system

We have a well, and the water was tested to be 3ppm instead of the acceptable level of about 0.03ppm. That is CRAZY high- everything was turning orange, my dishes, my toilet, sink, shower tile, clothes... even my kids' hair. I totally thought I had a redhead for a year... My hemoglobin was awesome though!!! It wasn't a huge concern I guess during the initial well testing so we figured it would go away itself eventually.. and it didn't. We set up a heavy duty Culligan filter system that helped a little bit, but that's meant for larger sediment than the iron, and there's so much of it. We wrecked the porcelain on the sink and toilet trying to get the orange off with different chemicals. Real healthy :/ After researching we discovered this one, and crossed our fingers it would do the job. It is a lot of $$ to gamble on. It arrived and it does take two people to fill the tank with the media- which I guess we'll need to replace every 5 years or so. Not cheap either. The instructions were awful, but figured it out (should've just contacted the company, looks like they are helpful with that part) and we've set it to back flush every 3 days. (try not to use the system during the flush- it takes an hour so we set ours for midnight) Make sure to flush out the hot water tank. We've had this system for a year and a half now- ample time to make an opinion. 5/5 stars for function, though they could fix the instructions I guess they do have them online somewhere so contact them if you're having issues. It is fairly simple to set up, and make sure you have a drain system set up as it does use a bit of water to flush. Love that it's one tank instead of 2- it does take up a square foot or two of space but pretty minimal. We have it in a closet under the stairs... and wrapped it with insulation as it does like to sweat in humid weather.

We purchased this unit in February 2014 to eliminate a hydrogen sulphide (rotten egg) smell and this unit did the trick. I installed the unit myself and if you have basic plumbing skills, you should have no problem. Just note this unit expels a significant amount of water during the backwash cycle. So, be sure you have a drain plan (the drain uses a 1/2" inside diameter drain hose).

I have purchased a pile of stuff from these guys and it is all great! DON'T wast your money on the name brands as it is the SAME stuff here. It all works and it easy to install and use! save money, get real advise and get great equipment for thousands less than anywhere else.

The well water in our new home in the woods was so bad, reeking of sulfur and tainted with iron, that we could not drink it. Heck, we could not even brush our teeth with it without gagging. After much research we invested in this Air Injection Platinum 10 system. The package arrived at our home on time and in great shape. Since I could not find a local contractor to install it, I studied up on my plumbing skills and installed it myself, along with a complete bypass system and a drop-down sediment filter. The work wasn't fast and it wasn't easy for this newbie, but with only one (successful) contact with the Abundant Flow Water help desk, I got 'er done. Then came the miracle. The water IMMEDIATELY went from undrinkable to amazing. No rust. No sulfur smell. Six months later and the water is still perfect. I had already bought a drinking water filter to install downline from the iron/sulfur filter, but it still sits in the garage because it is simply not needed. The local A/C guy, the local garage door installer, and, yes, the local well guy who originally declined to install the system have all been by to check it out and taste the water. Abundant Flow Water might be getting a little more business from this rural enclave in Florida, business earned by doing the job they rightly claim to do with professionalism and excellence. Anybody want to buy a brand new "Big Blue" drinking water filter system for cheap? The Platinum 10 system has spring water coming out of our tap and we could not be happier.

Works great so far, easy to install. No more rotten egg smell and haven't had anymore yellow clothes from the iron in the water
