Fine mesh resin offers treatment of lower iron levels in addition to softening the water. KDF85 additive treats low levels of hydrogen sulfide which is characterized by the smell of rotten eggs.     Easy to install and set up with basic plumbing skills. Unit removes iron and smell and it works great
