Works Great!
Yes you do need to buy an adapter to fit the end onto your home faucet but I already had one because I have an aquarium water changer that also uses the same threading. Literally plug and play - the instructions didn't help much anyway. I use it for a shrimp tank and my TDS in my tap is about 250, coming out of the unit it is 4 which is good enough for freshwater aquarium use. I keep it in a small plastic tray until I need to use it again which will only be about once a week. It's smaller than I thought which was a nice surprise. I'd buy it again.

No more trips to the store for water...Whoo Hooo!
I am extremely pleased with this product. I was hauling 4 five gallon jugs of water to the store and back home and never knew when I went if the water machine at the store was going to work that week. Living in an apartment i needed a water filter the was not permanent or required messing with the apartments plumbing, and the 1 pitcher at a time systems were not a timely option. This system is truly a life saver. I put a 2 way valve on the water source to my washing machine and hooked it up easily and set it on the shelf above. I did have to put some plumbers thread tape on one of the screw in connections to one of the filters because it wanted to leak, but other than that it's very easy to use. Best investment I've made in a long while. It even fills my bottles faster than I was expecting based on the filtering speed in the manual. It takes right at an hour to fill a 5 gallon bottle, but i set an alarm on my phone and go about my business till it's done. Wonderful!
