Product Description
UV filtration is the easiest way to rid your water of harmful bacteria. This kit includes everything you need to add UV filtration to most common under sink drinking water systems, including RO systems.
Complete kit includes filter and transformer, as well as mounting clips that connect directly to common membrane housings, extra tubing, and installation instructions
Bulb life is easily monitored through the end cap. While the bulb may glow for 12-18 months, it is recommended to change the bulb every year as bulb intensity (and thus treatment efficiency) diminishes after the first 12 months.

UV Kit
I added this to the RO system because from time to time our water utility sends out a boil water notice. Usually its some bozo contractor that breaks a line or some other screw up. I figure its easier and just to use the RO and UV as cheap insurance.

UV light for our drinking water
Another great purchase from AFW! We put this little UV light in front of an NSA 100S carbon filter which feeds our icemaker and a dedicated drinking water tap. Our well water is not contaminated, but this little UV light is just a little extra insurance that no bacteria is getting through to our drinking water.
