The activated alumina filter reduces or removes fluoride and arsenic in your water withough adding anything harmful. The GAC/KDF 55 filter reduces chlorine, chloramines, tastes, odors, and chemicals PLUS numerous heavy metals, including lead, mercury and iron and aids in the reduction of other contaminants.
