Product Description
The 20" Catalytic Carbon/KDF 85 filter can be used to replace a current filter or upgrade from the carbon block filter or standard GAC filter. The KDF 85 media enables the filter to remove heavy metals, including lead, mercury, and iron as well as low levels of hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg odor). The filter measures 2.5-inch in diameter and 20-inch long and fits all standard 20-inch housings.Recommended replacement is at least once a year, with every six months typical. NOTE: With high levels of hydrogen sulfide this filter may exhast very quickly, so it is not recommended for treatment of strong rotten egg odors.
