Combo Filter/Softener System
I'm really quite pleased with the quality of this combo filtration & softening system. I don't have much previous water quality systems experience, but I'm pretty good with DIY projects. I might note that the systems are not labeled, so it might not first be apparent which tank/valve is which. Take the time to read through the literature that accompanies the shipment, and watch a few YouTube videos and you'll find that these systems are not all that complicated - unless you get deep into the valve programming. If you have decent plumbing skills this install isn't bad at all. I did have to call support once because the meter on the softener wasn't registering flow. As I had previously don't my homework by watching a YouTube video or two, I knew that the cable into the valve electronics was good (tested with the magsafe magnet on my phone), so with zero hassle the support technician sent the correct part and we're good to go. This system wasn't cheap, but my water-snob wife tells me the taste is as good as what we've gotten out of RO units in previous homes. Highly recommend. I'd make this purchase again in a heartbeat.
