Description
Product Features
Aggressively neutralizes acid, correcting pH as low as 4.5. Labeled as Corosex or Flomag
Corrects pH problems as low 4.5. Typically used in conjuction with the lower costing Calcite media for more cost effective treatment
In lower flow applications, Corosex alone can provide alkaline (high pH), which some claim provides health benifits
Quick reaction rate allows for higher treatment flow rates
This is a good starting amount when using for blended systems (calcite/corosex blend)
Product Description
Highly reactive manesium oxide corrects low pH and allows for more aggresive treatment than standard Calcite media. Frequently used in conjuction with Calcite to provide cost effective treatment of lower pH water supplies.

Service flow rate is the rate (in gallons per minute) at which the media can effectively treat your water. The listed number is the manufacturers recommend rate for maximum neutralization. Higher flow rates MAY be possible in situations where slightly acidic water is desired/acceptable or where incoming water is not very acidic to begin with.
Backwash Flow Rates
The backwash flow rate is the minimum rate that MUST be available to ensure proper backwashing and peak system performance. The number shown is the manufacturers recommend rate. Please note that lower backwash rates MAY be used, but system performance my be reduced.
