Highly reactive manesium oxide corrects low pH and allows for more aggresive treatment than standard Calcite media. Frequently used in conjuction with Calcite to provide cost effective treatment of lower pH water supplies.

Higher flow rates MAY be possible in situations where slightly acidic water is desired/acceptable or where incoming water is not very acidic to begin with.
