Arsenic is a known carcinogen, increasing the risk of cancer even at very low concentrations. Arsenic occurs naturally in many groundwaters throughout the USA, less commonly in surface waters. Service flow rate is the manufacturers recommendation for maximum contaminant removal at a constant flow. Intermittent flow rate and/or lower contaminant levels MAY allow higher treatment flow rates.
Backwash Flow Rates
The backwash flow rate is the minimum rate that MUST be available to ensure proper backwashing and adequate media life. While lower flows can be used and MAY provide adequate results, using less than the recommended flows WILL void the 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Warranties on the tank and control valve will remain unaffected.

Great Equipment
I installed the DIGITAL ADEDGE ARSENIC 20 SYSTEM FLECK 2510SXT WITH VORTECH TANK in my NH home. We had a new well put in and had high arsenic, iron, manganese, and the rotten egg smell. The local company wanted to put in a water softener to treat everything but the arsenic. Then treat the arsenic at one tap. They also wanted $4400 for this. We bought the filter here for the minerals and smell and bought this filter for the arsenic. We have both 3 and 5 arsenic and this filter made it virtually non-existent. All this for cheaper than the local company and now no arsenic at any of our taps. Thanks Abundant Flow Water.
